Open the Amazon app, find the Grubhub+ activation link, turn it on. Worth checking every so often that it's still linked — Amazon makes you reconfirm it now and then.

Google wants $3/month for 200GB. iCloud's about the same. Prime gives you unlimited full-resolution photo storage — no compression, no cap — already included.

Download Amazon Photos, flip on auto-backup, forget about it. Every photo backs up at full quality from there.

If you're paying anyone else for cloud storage, this replaces it.

RxPass — $5/month, unlimited refills on 50+ common generics (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes meds, more). Free delivery. It's a paid add-on, but if you're filling more than one generic a month, it usually beats your copay.

Whole Foods discounts — 10% off hundreds of sale items automatically at checkout, plus member-only deals and free delivery in most cities. No coupon. Just show up as a Prime member.

Neither of these gets talked about when people list "what Prime includes." Both are real money, every month.

Amazon Business is free. Not Business Prime — the base account. Sign up with a work email, and you get business-only pricing, quantity discounts, and tax-exempt purchasing on eligible orders.

If you're buying shop supplies, bulk hardware, or gear for a team you coach, this is money left on the table if you're checking out as a regular customer.

Business Prime (paid tiers, starting around $179/year for small teams) adds multi-user accounts and spend tracking — worth it once more than one person is placing orders. The free account alone is worth setting up either way.

If your kids are borrowing your Fire tablet or Echo, Amazon Kids+ is the fix. One subscription, up to four kid profiles, 20,000+ books, shows, games, and apps — all ad-free, no in-app purchases, nothing that quietly charges your card.

Non-Prime members get 10%. Prime members get the full 20%. That gap alone is worth signing up for Prime before the wedding, not after.

Add in 180-day returns on gifts and free shipping, and there's no real reason to register anywhere else.

If you're 18-24 or a current student, Amazon has a Prime plan built for you — 6 months free, then $7.49/month or $69/year. That's half the standard price.

Separately, if you or someone in your household receives qualifying government assistance — Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, and others — Prime Access gets you the full Prime membership for $6.99/month. Same shipping, same Prime Video, same everything, at less than half price.

Worth checking either box before you pay full price for something you might already qualify for cheaper.

Buried in Amazon's settings is a whole hub called Amazon Access — built for stretching a grocery or household budget further. It's not one perk, it's a collection: SNAP EBT accepted as payment, a discounted $4.99/month grocery delivery subscription (regular price $9.99), Amazon Layaway for spreading out bigger purchases, and rotating grocery credits for Prime Access members.

None of it requires digging through forums to find — it's just never put in front of you unless you go looking.
